Gary Montgomery has many years of experience in handling injury claims of all types. He has tried over 100 cases in court and won 90% of them. Gary considers himself a hometown kid. He grew up in Idaho, graduated from high school in Boise, and attended BSU, where he was Freshman Class President.
After law school,* he returned to Boise and has been practicing law in Idaho ever since. He has been an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Idaho, serving as legal counsel to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission. He has also been an Assistant US Attorney for the District of Idaho. Early in his law practice, he became a partner in the Boise law firm of Marcus, Merrick & Montgomery, where his practice focused heavily on insurance disputes.
He has served in the Idaho Legislature for 12 years, including 4 years as Majority Leader. In 2001, he established Montgomery Law Offices, specializing in personal injury claims and insurance disputes. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Gary is not a stuffy, highbrow lawyer. He takes an easy, down to earth approach in working with his clients. You will find it pleasant to talk with him.
